The Business Enterprise Division offers three key services, focusing on micro, small and medium enterprises in the Cook Islands.
These services include financial assistance through our BTIB Loan Scheme, workshops to improve business literacy for the community and information on how to start a business in the Cook Islands.
Our division works closely with other government agencies such as the Cook Islands Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Agriculture, and the Punanga Nui Market. Aligning with our agency’s objective, we aim to encourage and facilitate the participants of Cook Islands in the ownership and management of local businesses.
We offer one on one consultations which can involve assisting you with validating your idea, or gathering and providing you with the business information you may need. Queries in regards to our services can also be discussed to help you gain a better understanding of how we can help you.
There’s a lot to think about when you’re starting a business, and it can seem overwhelming – but BTIB can help provide you with tips, advice, training, connections with other businesses and we will point you in the right direction.
