Welcome to Te Makete – (The Market)

Te Makete in our Cook Island language means, The Market.  It represents small to medium size  businesses based here in Rarotonga and in the Pa Enua (Outer Islands).  Majority of our local businesses are small and often, startup businesses who work from home, from various local markets to selling products and services in their shops or online.  These small businesses are generally privately owned or in partnerships.  BTIB not only supports small businesses, but helps our local  businesses by promoting and featuring their products and services here on Te Makete, BTIB’s newsletter and of course, Facebook.
