A friendly, happy woman with a big Polynesian smile is Auntie Tutai, or “The Queen”  who has always lived in Aitutaki.  She is also known as “ Queen of the Sunrise”, because her people are the first on Aitutaki to see the sun when each new day dawns.  Aunty Tutai will welcome you with open arms.

Gina’s Garden Lodges & Akaiami Beach Lodge offers two different budget friendly self contained accommodation units.  One is nestled in the beautiful lush setting of Tautu Village on the main island of Aitutaki, and the other on an uninhabited island of Akaiami in the Lagoon.  They are family friendly and welcome children of all ages.

The Garden Lodge is on the main island, and is about 5 minutes walk from the Tautu landing, on the Eastern shores of Aitutaki lagoon.  Their second beachside property is situated on one of the reef islands at Akaiami Island – 5 miles across the lagoon. This is Gina’s Akaiami Beach Lodge.

Four spacious, well appointed self-contained lodges with self-catering facilities at value for money budget prices.

Set in a beautiful garden  – two acres of flowers, plants and trees near Tautu Village. A ten minute drive takes you to the centre of Arutanga, the Post Office, harbour, fishing club, market place and beach.
